OSAKA UNIVERSITY
Needs and Objective for the Program

To achieve major breakthroughs in IT, a new trend is to use the knowledge gained through analyzing the cell behavior of various living organisms. We plan to set up a worldwide COE to design new ITs to build an NSE where humans can live in a pleasant symbiotic society, i.e., our cyber-society objective for the 21st century. Our COE program results should help strangers and human groups communicate with each other through cyber-societies backed by our ITs, to help provide good, long-lasting relationships, so that our program should bring important, lasting benefits for human society.
